- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup finely minced red onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup olive oil
DIRECTIONS

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
Generously season your steaks with salt and pepper.
-
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
-
Sear the steaks on each side for 3-4 minutes until they achieve a beautiful brown color.
-
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and let the steaks bake for 8-10 minutes or until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
-
While the steaks are in the oven, mix together the red wine vinegar, red onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
-
Gradually whisk in the olive oil until the mixture is well combined.
-
Take the steaks out of the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
-
Drizzle the homemade chimichurri sauce over the sliced steaks just before serving. Bon appétit!
Notes
Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing to lock in the juices.
