  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp. hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 stalk green onion

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  2. Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with a paper towel.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

  4. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and sprinkle the dry mixture over the wings. Mix well to ensure the wings are coated evenly.

  5. Place the wings on a greased baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until they're golden brown and crispy.

  6. While the wings are baking, prepare the BBQ sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together the BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and unsalted butter. Heat the sauce until the butter is melted and everything is mixed together nicely.

  7. Remove the wings from the oven and brush them with the BBQ sauce mixture. Make sure to coat both sides of each wing.

  8. Return the wings to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes or until the sauce has caramelized and become sticky.

  9. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot. Enjoy your New Year's Eve wings with your loved ones!
