INGREDIENTS

  • 4-5 lbs. thick chuck roast from Rem5 Farms
  • 2 tbsp. KosmosQ Cow Cover seasoning
  • 1 tsp. (each) salt, pepper, and garlic
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1.5 cups beef broth
  • buns of your choice for assembling sandwiches
  • cheese, red cabbage, and pickles for topping (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Set your smoker to 250 degrees.

  2. Season the chuck roast with salt, pepper and garlic then sprinkle with KosmosQ Cow Cover seasoning. Place the roast on the smoker for 5-6 hours or until it has a nice bark.

  3. Slice some onions and add them to a pan with 1.5 cups of beef broth. Put the pan back onto the smoker until it reaches an internal temperature of 208 degrees.

  4. Let it rest, shred it, and assemble your sandwiches on buns of your choice with melted cheese, crunchy red cabbage, and pickles (optional). Enjoy!

Notes

For best results, ensure chuck roast has reached an internal temperature of 208 degrees before shredding.
